Arrival
Reached by a long sandy track across the beach
That’s if you’re arriving by car, of course. With a private jetty and slipway, and plenty of space to land a helicopter, your options are plenty. The house can be cut off when the tide comes across the beach — parking sits on the far side, and tide times are kept in the house folder.
Utterly, unashamedly the best place on Anglesey to be. This is the place for big celebration gatherings, with floor-to-ceiling windows commanding views that reach out across one of the loveliest coastlines in Wales.

A kitchen worth cooking in
Two double ovens, a wood-fired pizza oven and a Smeg bean-to-cup machine. Collect a haul from Menai Seafood in the morning and cook it looking out at the tide.

Hot tub on the headland
Soak on the terrace as the sea laps back and forth, then pad down the steps to the jetty for a swim and back up for a beer on the outdoor sofa.

Two wood-burning stoves
When the weather turns, hunker down around the fires with the waves crashing beyond the walls of glass. Three living rooms mean everyone can spread out.

- The house sits on the water’s edge and the grounds are not enclosed; sea currents make swimming unsafe in places, so children need supervision at all times. RAF Valley is close by, so aircraft can be noisy — though rarely at weekends.
